About Mr. Kapitanski: Mr. Kapitanski was an electrical and mechanical engineering manager for twenty years before receiving God's calling and blessing to become part of the Living Word Lutheran High School family as a Building and Grounds Maintenance Manager. I also have a beautifully talented wife, Kristie, a son, Vincent, (currently a Freshman at Living Word Lutheran High School) and a daughter, April, (currently in 6th grade at Hales Corners Lutheran School). I love being and father/husband and love spending as much of my free time as possible with them. My hobbies are hunting, fishing, playing guitar, being a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, and tinkering with anything I can get my hands on to fix or improve.
Favorite Bible Verse: Luke 23:43
Why send students to Living Word? I have good friends as parents of five children that are at Living Word HS or have already graduated though Living Word since 2008. I watched the teachers and staff aid and guide them though the years to make their weaknesses stronger and their strengths more powerful; all in an excellent Christian environment. All are very skilled, talented, respectful children of God. I prayed that one day I might be able to send my children to Living Word to help bring out the best in them. Surrounding themselves by teachers and students to help guide them to become productive, knowledgeable citizens, spreading the good word and their finely honed talents that Living Word Lutheran High School can provide. It is truly a blessing to have my son, Vincent, start his journey at Living Word this year. I am excited and confident that this is the best place for him...and for me. I will work to the best of my ability to provide a clean, healthy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing learning environment for all of God's children at Living Word for as long as I am blessed to be part of this.
