The Timberwolves basketball team earned their first victory on the young season in a 59-52 battle at Hustisford High School Friday night. A highly competitive game throughout, the teams played to a 21-21 tie at half. The T-Wolves came out inspired in the second half and took the lead midway through the third quarter while never looking back. The Wolves had another excellent night shooting 45% from the field. Junior Andrew Borresen led the way for Living Word with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Noah Kegley and Borresen were a combined 15-18 from the charity stripe which helped the Wolves down the stretch. The T-Wolves defensive grit came through in forcing 17 turnovers and holding the Falcons to 29% shooting. The T-Wolves continue non-conference play Tuesday, December 8, at West Bend West.
