Going into halftime of their conference game against Wayland Academy, the Wolves weren't satisfied with their effort, but were still very much in a position to earn a victory. That opportunity vanished quickly as the Wolves came out in the third and were outscored 24-5 as Wayland Academy built a 21-point lead. Turnovers and missed opportunities killed the Wolves and ultimately cost them the game. Wayland Academy came away with the conference win 62-39. Ben Werner led the Wolves with 13 points while Caleb Cain chipped in 6.
