Living Word Lutheran High School would like to congratulate this year's Physics Phrenzy winners, two-year defending champions St. John's West Bend.  The team consisted of two 8th graders Austin Legate & Stacey Graff, along with 7th grader Maddy Fagan, all being coached by Living Word Senior Tanner Schmidt.  Runner-up belonged to a team from Trinity Freistadt including Danika Tramburg, Abby Kreger, and Tony Schutz.

As a part of the the 4th annual Living Word Physics Phrenzy teams needed to create a freestanding tennis ball launcher capable of accurately hitting a ground target placed 5 meters away.  They were given one hour to construct the catapult with each team given two official launches.

Living Word students assisted the sixteen teams from eight different area schools including St. John's, West Bend; St. Paul's, Grafton; First Immanuel, Cedarburg; Trinity, Freistadt; St. Francis Borgia; Holy Angels; St. Gabriel's; and St. John's, Mayville.  Students were also able to explore different student booths set up throughout the gym including topics such as momentum, Newton's laws, sound, light & color, linear & projectile motion, Rube Goldberg machines, and more.
