The T-wolves firmly established their hold on second place by knocking off the Lightning from Lake Country 59-45. Dominating the inside play from the beginning the Wolves jumped out to a 17-9 first quarter advantage. Senior Sarah Meinert led the way in scoring with 23 points, nine of those in the first quarter. As the Lightning made
a run early in the third quarter Chanel Stelmachowicz got hot hitting two threes while totaling eight points in the frame. The Wolves pulled away after that point winning in comfortable fashion Taylor Luce playing limited minutes because of illness recorded ten points and ten rebounds. T-Wolves stand at 14-3 overall and 11-2 in league play.
