LADY T-WOLVES NOTCH ANOTHER VICTORY
The Living Word girls cross country team grabbed another team title in the Lake Mills Invitational on Lakeside’s “Island Course” outside of Hubbleton, Wisconsin, on Thursday, September 29.   The girls outdistanced seven other schools in the hilly but scenic country course. Living Word scored 47 placing four girls in the top fifteen.

FRESHMAN RUNNERS FILL THE VOID
The Living Word boys cross country team were missing their number three and six runners at the Lake Mills Invitational on Lakeside’s “Island Course” outside of Hubbleton, Wisconsin, on Thursday, September 29. That meant two freshmen needed to step up and fill the void. They did giving Living Word a sixth place finish just three points from fourth.
Zach Ziemann ran up front in striking distance of the first and second runners. Senior Johann Hinck finished off the medalists for the boys.  Matt Rosenheimer gutted out a sore ankle and shin splints. The freshmen, Chase Uden and Shane Welter, ran strong races as well. Garrett Stremski surprised Zack Scherzer moving up one spot. Living Word’s next race is on Saturday, October 1, at Lake Country Lutheran High School.
