            T-WOLF BOYS IMPROVE – SNATCH THIRD PLACE
The division three Living Word Lutheran High School boys cross country team placed third at Saturday’s Oshkosh Lourdes Invitational at Lake Breeze Golf Course on Saturday, September 24. Only division one Oshkosh West and division two Oostburg were better. The T-wolves outran two other division two school including Clintonville and Deerfield/Cambridge.
            Zach Ziemann led the wolves again with a medal in 9th place overall. Zach and seven others of his team set personal records. Most notable were Caleb Ashebrook’s rise to number three runner with Matt Rosenheimer close behind. Chase Uden improved over a minute on his time making it hard for Austin Meier and Shane Welter to catch him. Garrett Stremski improved the most with over a minute off his time. As the boys continue to shave off time, they will be force to be reckoned with when conference and sectional time arrives.

LADY T-WOLVES HOLD THEIR OWN AGAINST
RANKED STATE TEAMS
The Living Word Lutheran High School girls cross country team faced tough competition and placed third at Saturday’s Oshkosh Lourdes Invitational at Lake Breeze Golf Course on Saturday, September 24. Last year’s division three state champs and current top ranked Oshkosh Lourdes won the meet out running six ranked division two Clintonville and Living Word ranked fourth in division three.
Living Word’s only medal winner was Becca Gosselin who finished seventh. Stephanie Rutkowski just missed the top 15 and a medal by less than a second. Overall, though, most of the girls set personal records. The fifth runner, Rachel Gosselin and sixth runner, Annalise Jasinski showed the most improvement adding depth to an already good team. The tests of the last two meets should strengthen and harden the Lady T-Wolves against conference foes upcoming.
