Guards Noah Kegley and Andrew Borresen led the Living Word basketball team to their first conference victory of the the year, beating Wayland Academy 45-33.  The Timberwolves came out firing and jumped to a 21-9 halftime advantage.  The halftime lead proved to be enough as Borresen and Kegley were the only two T-Wolves with field goals in the second half.  Kegley scored fourteen of his seventeen in the second half while Borresen chipped in eight more to finish with fifteen.  The young Timberwolf team enjoyed an improved shooting performance Thursday, shooting just under forty percent.  The Wolves must continue to improve on capitalizing on shot opportunities.   The Timberwolves continue conference competition on Saturday against Heritage Christian.
