The Timberwolves opened up their season, Tuesday, and held a strong lead through three quarters despite sloppy and careless handling of the basketball. Random Lake took a late lead in the fourth only to have Noah Kegley hit two clutch technical foul shots to tie the game. On the final possession of the game, Random Lake hit a baseline jumper with three seconds remaining to regain the lead and seal the victory for the Rams. Statistically Living Word out-shot and out-rebounded the Rams (58% from the field including 60% from beyond the 3-pt line). However, turnovers were the Achilles heal for Living Word, committing 28 in total.
