Daniel Axtman and the Timberwolves struck fast on Thursday scoring in the opening seconds of a conference match between Living Word and Brookfield Academy. As Brookfield kicked off to start the match, Chris Lane of LW stepped in to defend a pass and quickly sent the ball up to Josh Senkbeil who served the ball to Daniel to score with only 15 seconds off the clock. From there, it was a battle of the mid-field, and Brookfield in the 25th minute was able to drive the ball up the middle and take a shot to tie the match 1-1. It remained 1-1 for the rest of regulation. No overtime was played due to the ongoing deterioration of the field.  The boys look to put together a winning streak on Saturday in a tournament at the Cedar Grove-Belgium Invitational.
