On a night when the girls basketball team struggled to make an offensive basket, their defense came up huge. Forcing 30 turnovers and limiting Elkhart Lake's leading scorer to 6 points resulted in a 52-42 non-conference win for the Wolves. The Wolves struggled for the first time offensively in the early season shooting just 5 for 37 from 3-pt. land. However, Kendall Meysembourg's 13 points and 4 steals along with post Sarah Nault's 16 points paced the Wolves. The girls look to continue their winning streak in another tough non-conference matchup on Thursday against Racine Lutheran.
