The girls basketball team earned its first win of the season over St. Joan Antida 48-17. The Timberwolves got off to a fast start as their defense throttled the Jaguars holding them to only 2 points each in the first two quarters for a 26-4 half time margin. Senior Julie Kohlwey led the defensive effort with 7 steals and sophomore guard Kendall Meysembourg pitched in with 4 steals. Sophomore Taylor Luce led the scoring with 12 points and added 11 rebounds. All in all 8 of 11 girls scored as the T-Wolves evened their record to 1-1 and 1-0 in the Midwest Classic North.
