The second game of the New Year saw the visiting Crusaders take a whopping 17-8 lead early in the second quarter. The T-Wolves were struggling with turnovers and poor shooting. The halftime score revealed a 22-16 lead for Racine.
The third quarter changed the entire face of the game as the T-Wolves' stingy defense did not allow a single point. Outscoring the Crusaders 11-0in the third, the surprising Wolves gained a 27-22 advantage and cruised to a 42-33 victory. Senior Amanda Schulke led the way with 12 pts. and SaraH Meinert chipped in with 11. The Wolves now find themselves with a 4-2 overall record and a 4-1 conference mark that puts them in second place.
