The Timberwolves trailed at halftime 20-16 to Heritage Christian Friday. However, a stellar defensive effort inthe second half propelled the Wolves to victory 48-34. Led by perimeter defenders Julie Kohlwey, Kendall Meysembourg and Chanel Stelmachowicz the girls allowed only 3 points in the third quarter. Heritage managed to take only two shots in the quarter as the Wolves forced 11 turnovers in the 3rd. Kohlwey recorded a season high 7 steals. "We had a 12 minute run of unbelievalbe defense--our best of the year." Amanda Schuelke led the scoring with 13 and Sarah Meinert added 11.
