About:

I am from the humble village of Grafton, WI and graduated from St. Paul in Grafton and later on from Living Word. I have been at Living Word for over 10 years and it is a place where I have grown as a person, coach, and teacher. I am happily married and have a daughter. I thoroughly enjoy hanging out with my immediate and extended family, whether that is on the lake fishing and tubing, the golf course, bowling alley, or a convention center watching my daughter play volleyball. I also enjoy watching all different sports, but I love the Wisconsin sports teams especially the Green Bay Packers.

Favorite Bible Verse:

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Why send students to Living Word?

I value Living Word because the school is a place of personalized growth. This growth happens in their personal lives, their faith walk, their academia, sports, the arts, and so many other places. The opportunities that Living Word offers are endless, and they are all backed by a staff that is deeply engaged in the lives of their students. Jesus told the disciples to let the children come to him, the faculty and staff of Living Word truly embody that mission by guiding students, via the Holy Spirit, to the saving faith of the cross. Each teacher is rooted in that mission, and the opportunities are simply a means to fulfill the mission. I am a proud graduate of Living Word and now a proud member of the staff at Living Word, it is because of my time here that I am where I am today. I thank God for this place and the opportunity to continue the work that was started in me many years ago and impart what I learned to the next generations of students.
