About:

¡Hola! I grew up in West Bend and attended Living Word for high school. God led me back to LW and I have been teaching here out of college for 3 years! My husband Nathan is a social studies teacher at FIL, and we have been married for just over 2 years. I spend my free time outside, shopping, singing praise & broadway music, zumba-ing, organizing something, and with my friends & family.

Favorite Bible Verse:

Isaiah 40:8 - “The grass withers and the flower fades, but the word of our God endures forever.

Why do you value being part of Living Word and it's school community?

I value LW because the people here truly care. When my brother, who has autism, started as a freshman at LW, our mom had recently passed away of cancer. The teachers at LW did so much to show him they cared about him. They met his unique needs and embraced him even in a difficult time. When I came to LW two years after, I felt the same care and support from the people there. I made lifelong friends, had so many opportunities to lead and grow in my academics, extracurriculars and in my faith walk with Christ, and was supported every day by loving teachers. It is my goal now as a teacher at LW to be an advocate for every student who needs it and show every student that I care for them!
