About:
I grew up in Michigan. Together, Mr. O and I have served at Lutheran schools in Michigan, Washington and Wisconsin for the last 24 years. We live in Cedarburg, where we raised 3 sons, all who went or go to Living Word. Cole is 20 and studying pre-med at CUW. Jonah is 16 and a sophomore here. Denny is forever 17 with his Father in Heaven. Our family loves meals together, worshipping together, traveling, soccer, finding the Joy in simple moments and taking nothing for granted.
Favorite Bible Verse:
I find 1 Timothy 4:12 to be one of my favorites in regards to high schoolers. "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for the believers in your speech, your conduct, your love, faith and purity.
Why do you value being part of Living Word and it's school community?
We are forever grateful for the support and love that is poured out on us here and consider Living Word a family of believers that lift each other up in all circumstances. This is a building where we all humble ourselves to be the arms and feet of Jesus. Our most crucial work is preparing kids to be disciples in the real world by serving others with their gifts, pointing to Jesus in all they do.
