Jr. Wolves Basketball Program
Welcome to the Living Word Jr Wolves Basketball Program. Our youth program is in direct partnership with Living Word Lutheran High School, and we aim to provide a competitive and Christ-centered opportunity for young athletes to further develop their God-given gifts. Our club program is a direct feeder to the high school program at Living Word.
Information about the Program
Living Word Jr. Wolves basketball offers boys and girls in grades 2nd-8th the opportunity to play competitive basketball as an auxiliary program to their grade/middle school team.

Summer Basketball Scoring Camp
Our Jr Wolves Basketball Program is sponsoring a Youth Basketball Scoring Camp on August 7-10, 2023 for boys & girls in 2nd-8th grade. This is open to ALL kids in the community and the camp will focus on offensive skills, scoring and shooting. All campers receive a special t-shirt and individual awards will be handed out to camp competition winners.
Schedule for camp:

6th-8th BOYS -- 8:00-9:30 AM

2nd-5th BOYS -- 9:30-11:00 AM

6th-8th GIRLS -- 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

2nd-5th GIRLS -- 1:00-2:00 PM
2023-2024 Season
We are excited to be back for the 2023-2024 season of LW Jr Wolves Basketball! Be sure to join our email list (use the button) to receive important information about our program. Tryout registration for 2023-2024 will open in late spring 2023.
Players are required to go through a tryout to determine if they make a team. Tryouts are held in the Gym at Living Word Lutheran High School. They will be evaluated on their basketball skill levels, game play, knowledge of the game, work ethic, and coachability. We cannot guarantee a spot for all players that tryout. All tryouts will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at LWLHS.
Sunday, August 27, 2023 Schedule:
11:30AM - 12:30 PM -- 2nd, 3rd & 4th BOYS
12:45 - 1:45 PM -- 5th & 6th BOYS
2:00 - 3:00 PM -- 7th & 8th BOYS:
3:15 - 4:15 PM -- 2nd, 3rd & 4th GIRLS
4:30 - 5:30 PM -- 5th & 6th GIRLS
5:45 - 6:45 PM -- 7th & 8th GIRLS
Make-up date: If you cannot attend on Aug 27th, we will have a make-up date the week of Aug 28-31. Official make-up date is TBD.
