  • New classroom space

  • A mezzanine, above the classrooms and locker rooms, providing additional seating and flexible space overlooking the courts and turf area

  • A dedicated fitness center/weight room and athletic training room to support student health, strength, and recovery

Why a dome?

An air-supported dome allows Living Word to build a large, flexible facility at a significantly lower cost than traditional construction. With a traditional building at the same investment, we would likely only be able to add a few courts. Instead, the T-Plex allows us to do far more.

With the same investment, the T-Plex includes eight classrooms, three courts, seating for up to 1,000, a fitness center, athletic training room, indoor turf space, and offices. Simply put, it delivers far more usable space and opportunity for the same dollars.

Designed for reliable year-round use in upper-Midwest winters, it will support athletics, physical education, school events, and community gatherings. The T-Plex will be a unique experience and a visible beacon in the community — a place people will want to see, talk about, and experience.

The name reflects our motivation.

Short for the Timberwolf Training Complex, the T-Plex reflects our name, the T-Wolves, short for the Timberwolves. It points to our mascot, the Timberwolf, and reflects the strength, unity, and resilience of our Timberwolf community. It reminds us that we move forward together as a pack.

“Plex,” short for complex, points to something bigger than a single-purpose facility. This is not just a gym. It’s a multi-use space where students train their bodies, sharpen their minds, and grow in discipline and confidence.

The T-Plex is all about our commitment to developing the whole student — preparing young men and women to compete, create, lead, and serve.

It is about more than bricks and mortar.

This project is about...

Removing barriers that limit ministry impact

Preparing today’s students to serve and lead

Stewarding growth responsibly and prayerfully

Ensuring sustainability for the next 25 years
