About:
I grew up in Bonduel, WI on a dairy farm. My childhood instilled in me a love of nature and a passion for reading. God has led me from Wisconsin Rapids to Brookfield to Sheboygan Falls, back to Milwaukee and then to Random Lake. Now I reside in Glendale and can walk to Lake Michigan to get my nature fix. This is my tenth year serving at Living Word. Two of my sons, Josh & Toby have already graduated from LW, and Owen is a senior this year. I enjoy spending time with my boys, playing board games, hiking, kayaking, walks at the beach, reading, watching movies, crafty projects, and reading.
Favorite Bible Verse:
Habakkuk 3:17-18 - Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
Why do you value being part of Living Word and it's school community?
I value the opportunity to share in a faith-based community with my colleagues and students. I enjoy sharing my passion for reading and writing with students who are eager to learn. Over the course of four years, I love to watch students grow and mature, not just academically but socially and spiritually as well.
